Dr. Linda Rosene, who volunteered recently to focus on grants and grant applications for APET SPCA, has come out of the starting blocks with astounding success.  She has prepared applications to several major organizations and businesses who traditionally grant funds to undertakings such as ours.  She has contacted our county government and all of the city governments in Wood County to schedule time for presentations at their meetings.  Currently, she is simply asking for a "Resolution of Support"  from each of them, and time to tell them about our group and the needs we are trying to fill.  She is also asking for allocation of time on future budget work session agendas.

Either Pat Sevenants or Laura Sparks will likely accompany Dr. Rosene to these presentations.  Laura has recently done similar presentations to civic organizations, and Pat is a veteran of many presentations.  We all welcome Dr. Rosene and her talents to our team!   We will keep you posted on the results.  We received a resolution of support last year from the Wood County Industrial Development Commission, and continue to enjoy the support of Director Gary McKinley.
